Volunteer or Donate

Hudson Valley Community Dance is an all volunteer, not-for-profit, organization.  We depend on volunteers to book halls & bands, to manage publicity, prepare flyers, update the website, collect money at the dances, DJ, teach lessons, etc... for each of our dances.  With over 65 dances per year, that's a lot! 

We can always use help, with the above or in many other ways.  Write to  hvcdinfo@hudsonvalleydance.org  to offer assistance!

Some areas where we would like help:

• Fund raising - Maybe organize a fund raising dance or silent auction
• Writing grants
• Publicity  - for all of HVCD, or even just for your favorite type of dance
• Creating a better website
• Managing Facebook information  
• Moving the sound system to/from specific dances 
• Teaching beginners' lessons  or DJing
• Donating $$$  (Write a check to HVCD, and mail it to  HVCD, 177 Route 208, New Paltz, NY 12561)
• Providing rides to people who need transportation to a dance 
• Finding new, usable dance spaces
• ... be creative. How would you like to help???

The people who run these dances are interested in hearing your comments, opinions, and suggestions for improvement.
